Who can use You ID Me's face mask exemption tool?
HMRC have provided good guidance on the law around face covering exemption. In short if you have a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability or where putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress you can be exempted.
As a result many members with condition such as asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, anxiety as well as hidden disabilities carry one of our combined face mask exemption / medical ID cards. So our new tool can be greatly beneficial for them.
