The You ID Me service is usually provided with a selection of personal ID products such as ID bracelets, necklaces and medical identity cards, but it is n't necessary to purchase anything with this scheme; once you have your ID you can use the simple suggestion below to ensure your number is available in any emergency - it can be really effective in helping to protect you.

How does it work?
When you register the system will immediately allocate you one of our ID numbers, which you can carry with you all the time in case of emergency.
Write the number on a simple card or print and use our example shown below. Simple is fine!
Using the ID number, a first responder can quickly and easily access the vital ID, medical and emergency contact information that you have registered from any phone or other connected device such as a tablet or PC.
You ID Me can also trigger alerts to up to two of your emergency contacts and even share the contact details of the first responder that is looking after you.

Do I need to buy anything?
No. Getting a ID under this scheme is free and you'll get the You ID Me Gold Plan free for life. View our plans here.
You'll also get a complimentary period on our Platinum with Alerts plan - this is needed to send alerts to your contacts in an emergency - plus we'll include a handful of alerts - there's nothing to pay so no payment details are needed to register.
After 90 days your plan will automatically alter to our Gold Plan which will remain free for life. You may upgrade at any time but this is completely optional.
