About You ID Me

What does the service do?
Each ID product can be printed with a unique ID number. Users may activate their number registering their ID and medical information.

Their information may then be accessed quickly and easily by any first responder from any mobile device, anywhere in the world.

With one click, users can set the system to send alerts to designated contacts in an emergency and share first responder's contact details - so that everyone is kept informed. 

It helps save lives and it's really easy for anyone to use. No app is needed so it's super-fast in an emergency.

The You ID Me service is used by many thousands of people with medical conditions and also parents of young children using child ID products.

How does You ID Me work?

Customers receive a unique ID number with their product which they activate on the You ID Me portal . At the same time they register the vital information they would want to share in an emergency situation. 

 It's really easy and takes just a minute.

​The ID number is visible either on or inside their ID product alongside a concise instruction to guide a first responder in an emergency.

The ID number may feature as a human readable code (eg a12345b), as a device readable format such as a QR code or both.

In an emergency the ID number is input at www.you-id.me or the QR code is scanned and the registered information is instantly displayed on the device (eg smartphone, tablet, PC etc.)

Users keep their information updated via the You ID Me portal.

Service levels

You ID Me has two service plans: Gold and Platinum with Alerts: - 

Gold Plan is free 
Provides added value by allowing users to register emergency info in a structured way such as: emergency contacts and their details, medical conditions, medications, NHS number, blood group, donor preferences, allergies and other important information.

Platinum with Alerts is our paid for plan 
Includes all the features of Gold Plan plus : -

• Alerts to designated emergency contacts 
• First responder contact details sharing
• Medical document upload (DNR, Advance Decisions etc.)
• Speed dial contacts 
• Photo ID upload

We offer a brand matching service for charities and other organisations who can generate two revenue streams. Firstly by supplying the wristbands to their members and customers direct and secondly from a share of revenue when customers upgrade to our Platinum Plan.
