If you haven't - don't worry... you're not the only one that's been caught out. Here's how:

- Fully open and lay out your wristband so that the main VITAL ID label is to the right
- Notice the two sewn in strips of Velcro fastening; left and middle
- Locate the sleeve opening is on the left hand side of the middle strip of Velcro
