If you choose to upgrade to You ID Me Platinum plan you'll need to pay for the upgrade by either a recurring direct debit or PayPal subscription.
When you set up your direct debit to cover the cost of upgrading your emergency ID profile you're authorising our third party payments provider (Eg. GoCardless) to take recurring payments by direct debit (either monthly or annually) from your bank account.
Please note You ID Me doesn't have visibility of your full bank details and is unable to either take or repay funds directly from or to your bank account.
Our third party payment provider in turn sends your payment to us after retaining their commission. Their commissions are an expense that we incur.
Members no longer requiring to have the Platinum plan applied to their ID profile are advised to cancel their direct debit or PayPal subscription no less than 14 days before their payment anniversary date.
Cancellation of a direct debit later than 14 days prior to your payment anniversary date may result in You ID Me incurring expenses raised by our third party payments provider.
In such cases and where a refund is requested an administration fee plus the value of any service used up until the cancellation date will be charged. This will be debited from any refund due. Further details and examples can be found in our terms and conditions.
