Upon activation, your emergency ID profile will be given a complimentary upgrade to the Platinum plan for 90 days. For this period, your plan level will show in your dashboard as 'Gold boosted to Platinum'.
After 90 days your plan will automatically switch to the Gold plan. Your plan level will alter to 'Gold'.
There is no charge for using either 'Gold boosted to Platinum' or 'Gold' plan.
You may choose to upgrade to the Platinum with Alerts plan at anytime and this is payable either by setting up a recurring direct debit or paypal subscriptions. You can choose to pay annually or monthly.
There is a discount available for choosing to upgrade within the first 24 hours after activating your ID product. After this the price increases though you may receive adhoc offers from time to time by email.
For direct debits we use a third party payment provider such as GoCardless.
If you choose to upgrade by recurring annual or monthly direct debit you'll complete a direct debit mandate with the third party payment provider (Eg) GoCardless).
The third party payment provider will in turn send your payment to us after retaining their commission. Their commission is an expense that we incur.
Although it takes ten days for your direct debit to be set up, charged and paid out, we'll put your profile on the plan immediately upon notification that your direct debit has been set up.
This means you don't have to wait until we receive your payment for your plan to be protected by features provided as part of the higher level plan.
Platinum plan has no minimum term or contracted period however members should be aware that there are implications of cancelling plans and requesting refunds where irrecoverable commission charges have been made by our third party payments service provider have already been raised to us. These are set out in our terms and conditions.
