This means our SMS Alerts service may not function if the mobile device on which you wish to receive alerts has been purchased or registered in one of the countries on the list.
Please note though the You ID Me system will allow you to select country codes and input mobile numbers from these places, it will not alert you or otherwise make you aware that an alert is likely to fail.
This is because the restriction is implemented on the networks owned or managed by the countries concerned. In other words, your alert is sent from You ID Me, but is blocked or ignored altogether by software on the network once passed over.
