I've always  thought about the importance of emergency ID being  easily visible.  And there is a kind of irony because hi viz is where it all started for Ahead Solutions owner of the You ID Me brand.

Back in 2012 I  gave notice on my full-time job  to  start the Ahead Solutions company on the back of a hi-viz invention I had created, which sold well at a the The Cycle Show at the Birmingham NEC.

Soon after I began supplying medical ID and   eventually created You ID Me, mainly due to having a couple of family members who needed more from their emergency ID products though also partly due to competition.

Wrist space s precious 'real estate'.  There are all sorts of products and inventions crying out for your wrists, which is perhaps in  itself the topic of another post... watches, jewellery, fitbits, sports  gadgets, pedometers, charity support bands   etc. etc.

I know through conversations with first responders  and ambulance staff that  in an emergency they'll generally check the neck and wrists of the person whom they are treating so almost any medical alert bracelet  should be found.

However when it comes to wallet cards  I  think that would benefit from having the ability to stand out somewhat.  That's why  we've created the  highly visible medical ID combo set  as an  offering to those that want a little more peace of mind.

The listing has only been available for a few weeks and already there's been a great uptake; carriers of our high viz emergency ID cards don't always keep their card in their purse or wallet.  Some are wearing on lanyards   at work or when they go somewhere new or unfamiliar, so that it would be  immediately obvious if  the worst was to happen.
