Yesterday we received the following review for our children's identity wristband from another happy customer. I purchased these wristbands for my nephews as we're going abroad together for the first time soon. They were easy to activate and to update the information on. The upgrade deal was too good to pass up and, as a result, I got even more years cover and spare wristbands which I was astounded by. A great product that I'm confident will work well." See the full verified review. It's always a real pleasure to receive customer reviews whether positive or 'constructive' so thank you very much for this. Child emergency ID has become a big thing over the years especially for holidaying purposes where parents worry of the dangers when travelling abroad with small children. Search Google for example! High profile child abduction cases such as that of Madeleine McCann, still haunts parents. Thankfully such cases are rare though children can still wander off in busy places such as airports, stations and shopping centres. Best to have some kind of safety mechanism in place. ChildSafe ID from You ID Me is a way that a lost or missing child can be quickly and easily identified by a helper. Children can be trained to reveal their ID bracelet (or tag or necklace etc.) to a person in authority. When their profile is accessed using the 12 digit ID code, NFC tag or QR code, the You ID Me system can be set to alert parents immediately by SMS - straight to their mobile phone in a matter of seconds. So the benefit f this is that as a very worried parent, you get to know just as soon as your child's identity bracelet has been used to access their profile - in other words you know for certain that they have been located. Not the SMS text message that you receive may also contain the contact details of the helper - the person that has accessed your child's identity profile. This is because when the helper reads the QR code, NFC tag or enters the 12 digit code into the You ID Me website, if your child's ID profile is set to trigger SMS texts then they will be asked to provide their brief contact details. The system is clever. It bridges the gap between parents and helpers. It's important to say that the helper is not forced to enter their contact details, but why would they not unless it was an accident and they needed to act really fast? It's also important to stress that the parent alert service is only available as part of the Platinum Plan which is £35.88 per year. Offers are available and there is no contract minimum upgrade period is one year. So if you are heading off this year for sunnier climbs and you are taking the kids then consider equipping them with kids ID wristbands. Even if you opt not to pay the additional cost for the Platinum Plan then at least get them each an identity band that they can wear whilst in another country.
You'll feel a lot less worried about your child going missing. You may even be able to have the conversation with your child - what to do if we become separated (a good idea in any case whether you buy child identity bracelets or not). You can develop them with a crisis plan if they are old enough too. It's really good practice, so they at least know the dangers. And I get to say this... I sincerely hope that you never need to use your child emergency identity bracelet for any reason. I hope that it just sits there on your child's wrist whether they're in the pool, ocean on the beach, in the mall, at the airport, on the train, at the event, on the school trip, on a sleepover with friends, or at the other busy place,,, well you get the picture. |
