You ID Me was created do to need that existed in director Lee Cunningham's family; a couple of family members have medical conditions causing them to take lots of daily medications. In the event of an emergency a paramedic  would certainly need to quickly know about these people's  medical condition and some of the medications they take.

The service became popular with others in similar circumstances  as well as parents  finding great comfort in the system for their children and also sports people  that exercise alone; such as cyclists and runners.
